Guillaume De Chassy & Christophe Marguet

After following in the footsteps of William Shakespeare (Shakespeare Songs, 2015) then Marlene Dietrich (Letters to Marlene, 2018) in the company of saxophonist Andy Sheppard, Christophe Marguet and Guillaume de Chassy complete their trilogy. For this final episode, they wrote music that emerges from an imaginary conversation between English and French poets, from the 17th century to the present day, around The Issue of Love. Incarnated in both languages by the recorded voices of Lambert Wilson and Delphine Lanson, this poetic dialogue inspires the flights of the duo Marguet-de Chassy and their special guest for this concert, the great clarinetist Thomas Savy.
