Internationally renowned vocalist Sandra Booker has collaborated, recorded and toured with a wide variety of artists such as Lalo Schifrin, Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Harry Connick, Billy Higgins, Ernie Watts, the WDR Big Band, Patrice Rushen, Tamir Hendelman ... Unanimously respected for her sense of scat, her beautiful "time", warm phrasing and crystalline timbre, Sandra Booker is also a songwriter. The singer is often compared to jazz legends Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald and Nancy Wilson. Born in New Orleans, the singer brings to the stage all the musical richness of her hometown, but although firmly rooted in jazz music, Sandra continues the tradition of this music by mixing contemporary elements of R & B, funk, hip-hop and hop, gospel and latin.
