They pay tribute to a musical giant who died 50 years ago, in early July 1971. Gospel, blues, and of course modern jazz of which he was a pioneer, Louis Armstrong are unforgettable. Among the wonders he left us are his duets with Ella Fitzgerald. In 1950, the two of them went to the studio in New York to record their version of the classic Dream a little dream of me, a love song born in the 1930s.
