After studying opera singing at the Haute école de musique de Lausanne, Charlotte Planchou decided to turn to jazz and song. She then travels through the jazz clubs of the capital for 4 years where she learns to familiarize herself with this new repertoire.
In 2019, she recorded her first album "Petite" which includes songs by Leo Ferré, Maurice Ravel and pieces of her own composition, in French.
In concert, Charlotte Planchou tries to build up a repertoire of songs that inspire her, which can go from Leo Ferré to jazz standards through Kurt Weill's German cabaret and songs of her own composition.
