When Speranza Galez (singer and producer) met Nicolás Ruiz (guitarist, arranger and composer) in 2015, they talked about the idea of fusing Venezuelan music with the language of jazz. In 2019, they move to Paris, meet musicians in Parisian jam sessions with whom they collaborate and create a repertoire from the meeting between the harmonic richness of jazz and different styles of Venezuelan music such as the "culo e 'puya", the "merengue caraqueño", the "tonada" and the "San Millán".
