Jeanne Michard 4Tet Invit Julien Dubois

Jeanne Michard is a young musician of 28 years old. Marked by the jazz influence of the 30's and 40's and Latin music, she studied with great names of jazz saxophone such as Luigi Grasso and Nicolas Dary. Present on the Parisian jazz scene, she regularly performs in clubs and concert halls in Paris but also in the provinces and abroad. Working as a sidewoman, she also puts together different formations under her name: Jeanne Michard 4tet / 5tet / latin5tet. Pretext to the composition, which will be worth to her in particular several passages on the waves of TSF since 2020.
She surrounds herself with Clément Trimouille (guitar), Paul Morvan (drums) and Alex Gilson (double bass) to form the Jeanne Michard 4tet, and thus explore and deepen the swing and bebop language. For the occasion, she revisits the repertoire of Lee Konitz and Wrane Marsh with Julien Dubois. Saxophonist and composer, founding member of the label and collective DÉLUGE from Bordeaux, Julien Dubois has been a regular on the Parisian scene for over 20 years. He is also the leader of the group Le JarDin with more than thirty concerts to his credit and participation in numerous national springboards.
