YONN, Grégory Privat's new album - release January 28, 2022 After 5 albums in his name, Grégory Privat presents his next album entitled “Yonn”, which means the number “One” in Creole. Indeed, this is the first time that the Martinican pianist will offer a "solo piano" record. For this recording of 11 tracks recorded entirely in Cologne, Grégory Privat offers intimate music that has its sources in West Indian culture, classical music and Jazz. A contemplative journey which will combine the notes of the piano with the voice of the musician because 5 pieces are sung in the repertoire. Made up entirely of original compositions, this album imagined and created during the confinement period of 2020 will be under the theme of meditation and return to oneself, like a confidence full of light, comfort and hope. This new opus will be released on the pianist's label, BUDDHAM JAZZ.
