Professional area
Sophie Alour, born in 1974, started playing the saxophone on her own at 19, after having studied clarinet at the Quimper Conservatory. It was on stage, in vivo, that she learned jazz and collaborations followed from the 2000s, notably with Wynton Marsalis, the Belmondo brothers, Aldo Romano and Laurent Coq.
