Gael Horellou Quartet

Every Sunday and Monday, la Rhumerie brings you together for a jazz evening that revives the tradition of St Germain des prés during the fifties, and offers a selection of rums and West Indian cuisine (surcharge + € 1 per order on concert days).

This evening, Alex Swing Events presents the quartet of the immense saxophonist Gael Horellou, inspired by great jazz music, and in particular bebop, offers radiant and universal music in which personal compositions and standards weave a link between tradition and modernity.

At his side, especially for this concert, the young and brilliant guitarist Gustave Reichert who joins the NHK trio. Initiated for a tour in Korea and Cambodia, this is Gael's new trio with bassist Duylinh Nguyen and Korean drummer Min Cham Kim. The NHK trio's repertoire is rooted in the American songbook and also incorporates original music from the members of the trio. The trio's first tour was a resounding success.
