A 4-star line-up for the rebirth of a project initiated about ten years ago. Excellent musicians, sought-after sideman, they have each traveled the world alongside the greatest.

Hadrien Féraud is one of the virtuosos of the bass whose talent puts you a slap. Heard with John McLaughlin, Chick Corea, Gino Vannelli, Billy Cobham, Jean-Luc Ponty, Biréli Lagrène, André Ceccarelli, Sylvain Luc among others, he sails between Los Angeles and Paris. Nicolas Viccaro, recently crowned in the 30 best drummers of the last 20 years by Batterie Magazine, he is currently touring with Etienne Mbappé, Mike Stern & Bill Evans! The clarity of his game highlighted by an extraordinary technique are unanimous. But apart from the theory and the choice of the score, it is its interpretation and the soul breathed into each of its blows that make a hit and place it above its counterparts.” Batterie Magazine (summer 2021). An inventive musician with a breathtaking technique, Stéphane Guillaume is not lacking in soul. In 1994, he joined the ONJ led by Laurent Cugny and was awarded the Django Reinhardt Award for Best French Artist in 2009, albums such as “Windmills Chronicles”, crowned best album of the year by the Académie du Jazz and dozens of collaborations… 10 years later, they were joined by Jerry Léonide, Mauritian pianist, winner of the Solo Piano Competition of the Montreux Jazz Festival, brilliant instrumentalist, inspired melodist, jazzmen with overflowing energy.

This beautiful stage of artists offers us a beautiful evening of jazz. Expect long moments of improvised trances that tell us about pleasure. This is jazz, yes, but a renewed jazz, invigorating, sometimes surprising, played by virtuoso musicians fed by multiple influences.

The Baiser Salé, considered by many musicians as a laboratory puts its stage at the disposal of creation and emulsion, to revive this high-flying quartet.

JERRY LÉONIDE piano
