Canonge / Zenino With Niculescu & Ziarelli

The 5th edition of the CZ Festival is already closing but don’t worry! This one will be back next year, and nothing prevents you in the meantime, to enjoy the Canonge/Zenino duo, every Wednesday at 19:30!
The festival ends in beauty with two remarkable guests. Florin Niculescu, manouche jazz and jazz violinist is an internationally renowned artist. He was first violinist of the Budapest orchestra, moved to France in the 90s and in 2001, he joined the «Gipsy project» created by the guitarist Birelli Lagrène, a quintet in the line of the «Quintette du Hot Club France» founded by Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli. The Gispy Project contributes greatly to the recognition of gypsy jazz in the world. Florin Niculescu also shares her idea of stage performance: «When I’m on stage, I try to create a summary of feelings about where I grew up and where I evolve as an artist». Bruno Ziarelli, sideman drummer from the south of France, played with Michel Zenino, Ricky Ford, Jacky Terrasson among others. Finesse and innovative technique are the particularities of this four-star drummer! Florin Nicolescu and Bruno Ziarelli are not at their first meeting since the latter participated in the album «Florin Niculescu Plays Stéphane Grappelli» in 2008.
