Robine Klein Quartet

To form the RK Quartet, the Franco-Dutch singer/songwriter Robine Klein brings together 3 musicians from different backgrounds, whose union creates a singular and mystical music. It accompanies stories sometimes written in French, English or Dutch. Impregnated by big names in jazz such as Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughan, their universe also experiments with more modern atmospheres that could recall Flora Purim and Gretchen Parlato. The RK Quartet offers bold but accessible jazz, and attaches real importance to the sound and textures of the four instruments so that they enter into a subtle symbiosis.
