Canto Do Sol

This group with eclectic personalities has combined its influences and origins to create an album of original Franco-Brazilian compositions. They will present the first songs of an album in preparation entitled "Avant l'équinoxe". Personal and intimate songs, which tell stories on the rhythms of samba, bossa nova, but also frevo, xote, swing... 

Canto do sol is a Franco-Brazilian group. Its repertoire includes original compositions and great samba and bossa nova classics (Tom Jobim, Baden Powell, Vinicius de Moraes...). He also offers lesser known pieces, exploring different traditional Brazilian rhythms (xote, ijexá, frevo...). He also likes to revisit French songs (Barbara, Brassens...) in a bossa or even frevo style.
