A long history of friendship linked Claude Bolling and his musicians. To our delight, a few members of his big band got together to perpetuate their leader's compositions. They are joined on the piano by Philippe Milanta.

Claude TISSENDIER (clarinet - sax - arrangements): has been one of the pillars of the Claude Bolling Big Band since 1978. He himself has set up several groups (Tribute to John Kirby, Saxomania, City Swing, Countissimo...) whose records have received critical acclaim (Hot Club de France, Académie du Jazz and Django d'Or)

Eric Levrard is a saxophonist accustomed to the great Parisian jazz orchestras. He specialized in the art of the saxophone section and more particularly in the baritone position. He holds this place in Michel Pastre's big band and in Claude Tissendier's New Saxomania orchestra. More recently, he joined Claude to take part in the Mi Bémol Quintet which replays the music of Claude Bolling.

Philippe MILANTA (piano): his musical language favors originality, intensity, surprises, swing and emotion. Regular pianist for many groups, specialist in large formations (Duke Ellington and Count Basie), he took over from Claude Bolling in the big band in September 2014. Sidney Bechet Prize from the Jazz Academy in 1996

Pierre MAINGOURD (double bass): guitarist then double bass player, he was quickly noticed for his qualities as an accompanist and his knowledge of jazz. Integrating very diverse formations, he participates in most of the major European festivals. He has been Claude Bolling's titular bassist since 1996.

Alain CHAUDRON (drums) After studying classical percussion and drums, he began playing in Jazz New Orleans and Swing bands. He obtained his state diploma (Jazz drums) and divided his time between teaching in a conservatory and playing in various Jazz formations.

Faby MEDINA (vocal): originally from the Caribbean, initially a dancer and lyrical singer, she finally opted for gospel singing, variety and jazz. Passionate about theatre, she met Jérôme Savary and affirmed her stage presence. An elegant and experienced singer, since 2001 she has been the female voice of Claude Bolling's large orchestra.
