Jean Philippe Fanfant Quintet

Raised in a family of musicians for three generations in Guadeloupe, Jean Philippe Fanfant feeds on very diverse influences and quickly develops his own groove. As Parisian studio sessions thanks to his precise and fine game, he participates in more than 400 albums. Jean-Philippe is convinced that music must be decompartmentalized and that musical genres must dialogue with each other; he experiences this principle in his career that he shares among the variety notably with Julien Clerc, Touré Kunda, Angelique Kidjo, Maxime le forestier, Bernard Lavilliers…

The Guadeloupean drummer, also leader of his own quintet, will perform at the Baiser Salé, with his long-time accomplices, for this new edition of the #LesCaribeennesDeMai festival!
