Olivier Roch Quintet

This quintet is the new project of clarinetist and composer Olivier Roch, also frontman of the group Nocuts.  With influences ranging from John Coltrane to Tigran Hamasyan via Avishaï Cohen or Debussy, Olivier Roch's music offers a subtle combination of lyricism and rhythmic complexity. The format of a quintet with two blowers allows the contrasts and the energy of this music to be translated at best, served by four excellent Parisian jazz(wo)men, members of the Pousse Production collective.
