Jean-Michel Bernard Quintet Plays Jerry Goldsmith

The music of Jerry Goldsmith, essentially symphonic and Hollywood, is here completely revisited by the composer-orchestrator and pianist Jean-Michel Bernard for a small formation of soloists. This original reinterpretation of well-known themes, as beautiful in the cinema as they are played on stage, is intended not only for the many admirers of the brilliant composer around the world, but also to make Jerry Goldsmith's work better known to a wider audience. The music from this album will be played in concert, the premiere will be given on March 22, 2022 for the ciné-notes festival in Bordeaux.
