The two virtuosos take you into their colorful universe.
Children of the Night, a musical laboratory with variable geometry revolving around their duo, where artistic influences intertwine to always push the experimental journey further.
Coming from families of musicians, Jean-Baptiste Loutte and Julian Leprince Caetano met at the age of 12 and 10 at the summer stadium of the Didier Lockwood Music Center. From there, is born a friendship and a real musical connection. Around the age of 15, Julian set up his quartet with Jean-Baptiste on drums, and they recorded the group's first album together in February 2022. Currently finding themselves together as a sideman in numerous projects on the Parisian jazz scene, Jean-Baptiste Baptiste also engages Julian in the stage adaptation of his Gemini project. A year ago, they decided to bring together their compositions and arrangements by creating "Childrenof the Night", a project to discover on the Baiser Salé stage as part of the #JazzDeDemain slot. #BeCurious
Created in 2012, the #JazzDeDemain niche has given birth to a series of monthly and bimonthly residencies, allowing young artists to experience the stage, to prowl a repertoire, while presenting it to the public. A promising and buoyant niche where creativity and emulsion have no limit. #BeCurious!
