Akinroots

Formed in 2019, Akinroots is the result of a multicultural encounter between an English piano, an Ivorian bass and Norman drumsticks. 

Coming from the conservatories of Rouen and Grand-Couronne, then students at the Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood, they represent three different worlds with multiple influences gathered around a common root akin root: the desire to create together.

From this powerful union is born a homogeneous mix between jazz fusion, afrobeat, neo soul, funk or electro, forming a unique musical universe to discover !
