Tonight, Alex Swing Events presents "The Kay Swift Songbook" project by saxophonist Esaie Cid and his quintet.

Two years after the release of The Kay Swift Songbook Vol.1, the Esaie Cid Quintet presents in concert the content of Volume 2, a new album just released in 2021, on Fresh Sound Records. With The Kay Swift Songbook, Esaie Cid reveals to the general public the work of an exceptional composer. Long forgotten, Kay Swift is a true Broadway muse of the 1930s, and the privileged confidante of Georges Gershwin. The veil is lifted on a top-notch songwriter.
