Mathis Picard

Mathis Picard is a young French-Malagasy New York based pianist, composer and producer in the international music scene. London reviewers describe Mathis as a “knockout, as dynamic a personality as he is virtuosic on the keys”. Rooted in the tradition of live acoustic performance and deemed as “one to watch” by Jazzwize magazine. Recorded with a live audience at the National Jazz Museum of Harlem in New York City, this album is a sonic journey through which Mathis explores the museum of his own life in music, honouring and spotlighting his roots in Jazz, Classical and Electronic music.
