It was last July that Jean-Baptiste Loutte and Julian Leprince Caetano invited Irving Acao for the first time. The connection was immediate and it is with joy that the four musicians meet again to share the stage of the Baiser Salé... With Children of the Night, Jean-Baptiste Loutte and Julian Leprince-Caetano take us into a world of experimentation and risk-taking, the two virtuosos exploring their compositions in line with the most modern jazz. Accustomed to playing together since childhood and in their current projects Gemini Live and Julian Leprince Caetano Quartet, they once again call on Mathieu Scala on double bass, and some surprise guests!

Irving Acao, renowned Cuban saxophonist, multiplies the experiences of international stages which he shares among others with Irakere, Chucho Valdes, Roy Hargrove, David Murray... The richness of his music is the fruit of the Afro-Cuban rhythmic heritage of his native island, of the American and Brazilian harmonies which influenced him, but also of his solid training in classical music. He works with Stéphane Belmondo, Alain Jean Marie, Jimmy Cliff, Ray Lema, Orichas, Felipe Cabrera, Mario Canonge, David Murray…

Drummer, singer, guitarist, and songwriter, Jean-Baptiste Loutte likes to color by overflowing lines. A true passion for composition and arrangement, he began to write small pieces from childhood. He is interested in traditional jazz as well as modern New York jazz, soul, flamenco, pop and classical music. For 2 years, he has been adding lyrics in English and French to his compositions. Jean-Baptiste is currently working on his first album, where he will sing and record alone. The poetry of the words then adds to the implicit meaning of the music, a whole new dimension.

Created in 2012, the #JazzDeDemain niche gave birth to a series of monthly and bimonthly residencies, allowing young artists to experience the stage, to prowl a repertoire, while presenting it to the public. A promising and buoyant niche where creativity and emulsion have no limit. #BeCurious!
