Irene Amata Brazilian Quartet

Singer Irene Amata returns to 38Riv, where she regularly offers her original interpretation of Brazilian music and sounds. For this concert, she invites Wander Pio on percussion, Roland Seilhes on flute and clarinet and Jean Brogat Motte on 7-string guitar. Accompanied by these musicians from outside Paris, Irene will revisit the great classics of Bossa Nova but not only: a vast repertoire, from the birth of the samba, to popular Brazilian music, a touch of jazz, without forgetting unexpected vocal improvisations, the groove of the pandeiro, the depth of the surdo, and the sweetness of the Portuguese language.
