Jam Session - Tribute To Ella Fitzgerald

Caloé sings jazz, improvises, performs music from different cultures and writes music and words. She is a fervent admirer of Ella Fitzgerald and studies "scat" with precision and technique to master it in her own way. Ella, the one who sang with the cicadas, gifted with an uncommon vocal agility with a register of three octaves, is known for her masterful interpretation of all the standards through an impressive discography where we can distinguish her mastery of scat and improvisation.

Always surrounded by excellent musicians, Caloé performs in France and abroad, at the Tribeca Arts Center in New York, at the Zinco Jazz Club in Mexico City, at the Cosmopolite Hall in Oslo, at the Fashing Jazz Club in Stockholm... and she invites you to join her one Sunday per month for the Sunday Jam!

From July 27 to September 11, the #FestivalEstivalDeJam #17 welcomes 200 musicians to spend a memorable summer with you at the Baiser Salé!

With 45 concerts and the participation of numerous jammers, experience the unforgettable jam session whether you're into fusion, free jazz, funk or even pop... there's something for everyone!

More than just a concert, a jam session is an opportunity to discover outstanding musicians and see them have a blast improvising together in complete freedom. But you don't need to play an instrument to take part in this very special moment, and enjoy the very special energy of these open stages. The public, beginners, amateurs, professionals, young and old... Everyone is welcome to come and measure themselves against the best and tackle these musical jousts that leave no one indifferent!

Every evening, a one-hour concert sets the scene for the evening, before the JAM takes us through the night, mixing yesterday's classics with today's trends.
