For this third date of #JazzDeDemain residency and on this Valentine's Day, Clélya Abraham proposes a program around the music of Jacques Schwarz-Bart, jazz saxophonist of Guadeloupean origin. Having discovered him ten years ago, he inspired her for several of her compositions, notably with this marriage between jazz and traditional Caribbean music. She will be accompanied for the occasion by rhythmic experts in this style - Elvin Bironien (bass), Tilo Bertholo (drums) - and the excellent saxophonist Illyès Ferfera.

Coming from a family of musicians, Clélya Abraham developed a passion for composition very early on. Gradually, her efforts focused on the piano, the young musician feeling more intimate with the instrument that allows her to create. At the age of 18, she turns more particularly to Jazz, Nu Soul and World Music (Africa, Caribbean, Reunion, Brazil), styles in which she blossoms thanks to the freedom given by improvisation. Following numerous encounters during her years of study at the CRR of Paris, then at the Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood, and after a year of residency at the Baiser Salé Jazz-Club, the young pianist is at the beginning of a career in full expansion. She multiplies concerts in various projects, as a leader or sidewoman (Abraham Trio, Maë Defays, Crafting quintet, Teddy Sorrès, Ora project, etc...). This 2nd year of residency is therefore for her the opportunity to deepen her various projects, but especially to continue to explore and share new experiences, with renowned musicians such as Arnaud Dolmen, Tilo Bertholo, Balthazar Naturel, Sélène Saint-Aimé, Samuel F'hima, Antonin Fresson ...

Created in 2012, the #JazzFromTomorrow slot has given birth to a series of monthly and bimonthly residencies, allowing young artists to experiment on stage, to develop a repertoire, while presenting it to the public. A promising and promising niche where creativity and emulsion have no limits. #BeCurious!
