SpringBok is a four-legged animal, which plays with borders. Enduring, slender, fast and elegant, SpringBok likes to evolve in free spaces. The historical tandem saxophone/ trumpet and the rhythmic organ/drums evoke the great hours of hard-bop, post-bop or contemporary jazz. This original quartet offers a singular repertoire open to the world. A lively and warm jazz, where the breath, the melody and the groove hold an important place. A music that is both demanding and accessible, interpreted by four tightly knit and committed musicians.
