Nothing is more different and at the same time more similar than two puzzle pieces. Denis Gancel continues to unroll his musical reel under the keys of his piano, where jazz and classical music are braided into a single thread of diversity.  The many hours spent playing together have made the music of the Denis Gancel Quartet & Cie incisive, both in composition and in playing. Each one instinctively finds the other to accompany them, to dialogue with them, to be their leader for a piece.
