After making a name for himself as a member of the funk-jazz collective Fat Mama, the Washington D.C. born pianist/composer began a prolific career. He recorded 7 personal albums that received critical acclaim from USA Today, Jazz Times, The Huffington Post and Rolling Stone magazine, and toured with international music stars such as Norah Jones, The Chicks, Rosanne Cash, Citizen Cope, Shooter Jennings and Charlie Hunter.
Erik Deutsch was introduced to music at a very early age (he took piano lessons from the age of 6) and immediately developed a passion for the 4th art, to the point of devoting his entire life to it.

The blues/folk singer Victoria Reed, with her remarkable voice, is none other than the daughter of the famous saxophonist Alto Reed!
