Monika Kabasele Quartet

After her "Grecofuturism" project, Monika Kabasele presents her quartet that mixes (Congolese) rumba and tsifteteli (Greek rhythm) within a contemporary jazz arrangement. Accompanied by Dexter Goldberg on piano, Cyril Drapé on double bass and Ananda Brandão on drums, Monika creates a bridge between these musical genres; a tonality that is part of the present with the help of electronic effects (pedals, loopers...).

The dialogue between these new technologies, jazz and traditional music, expresses all the sensitivity and talent of the young singer.
