"Seeing a whale is an encounter. An encounter with a kind of evidence. You don't try to impose, to direct. You just look and let go. There is a kind of plenitude and serenity in this moment. This is the obviousness of the whale trio, a meeting like so many others and yet.
From the outset, an understanding between musicians from different backgrounds. A desire to move forward, to go further, deeper into the blue of music. Inspired by musician Jim Black's project 'AlasNoAxis' the music of the Whale Trio is a mixture of genres.
The mixtures of the acoustic, traditional form of the sax guitar and drum trio, welcome the electric and electronic effects to become one.
The whale follows its path, and shows us the way."
