Maxime Boyer Invites Octave Trio

Influenced by Lage Lund, Gilad Hekselman, Immanuel Wikins, Micah Thomas, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk or Ornette Coleman, Maxime Boyer is a young jazz guitarist and composer. His music proposes to explore the mystical side of sound by mixing simple melodies with a limitless exploration of musical textures.

In this new project, guitarist Maxime Boyer explores electric sounds with Sylvain Le Ray on piano and moog and Yanis Le Masle on drums. Their music is very much inspired by Gilad Hekselman's project "ZuperOctave" but the group offers their own universe turned around their personal compositions.

Created in 2012, the #JazzDeDemain program has given birth to a series of monthly and bimonthly residencies, allowing young artists to experiment on stage, to develop a repertoire, while presenting it to the public. A promising and promising niche where creativity and emulsion have no limits. #BeCurious!
