Maxime Boyer Quartet

Influenced by Lage Lund, Gilad Hekselman, Immanuel Wikins, Micah Thomas, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk or Ornette Coleman, Maxime Boyer is a young guitarist, improviser and jazz composer.

He returns for this fifth residency date with a modern jazz quartet that pays tribute to an incredible guitarist and composer, Lage Lund. Lage Lund's universe is characterized by a powerful way in the current jazz landscape, with rich compositions, new research of sounds on the instrument and an innovative improvisator's game. With this project, the group wants to make you travel in the universe of Lage and in the individualities which composes it, for that you find Robin Rivoire in the piano, Matis Regnault in the double bass and Arnaud Bichon in the battery.

Created in 2012, the #JazzDeDemain slot has given birth to a series of monthly and bimonthly residencies, allowing young artists to experiment on stage, to hone a repertoire, while presenting it to the public. A promising and promising niche where creativity and emulsion have no limits. #BeCurious!
