In the early 1920s, Louis Armstrong revealed a new path to the world of Jazz. He was, at the time, a powerful catalyst, like the architect of a musical universe in full transition.
Jérôme Etcheberry pays tribute to the impact of his singular expression during this essential period. He transposes the incomparable vitality of his playing thanks to the rich texture of a brass section allowing to find between each note the signature of the one who created a masterpiece with each of his solos.
Between lyricism & elegance, sense of swing and extravagance, we will let ourselves be carried away by his most famous melodic lines, enhanced by a rhythm section highlighting his inventiveness. Long live the Satchmocracy!
