Second Brain is jazz in spirit, rock in form and funk in substance. This project with variable geometry is directed by the French composer Adrien Pigeat. By mixing aesthetics, this project has fun to free itself from the different codes of styles and genres. Sublimated by a young team of talents, the writing of this synesthete prints as much to the great ones of the jazz as to the pioneers of the soul or to the sophisticated and esoteric poetry of the composers of the beginning of the XXth century. This diversity shapes the colorful and unique sound of Second Brain. Originally formed in London in 2014, the project relocated to Reunion Island in 2017. Since then, through Maloya and Indian Carnatic music, new flavors are grafted to their music. In concert, humor, spontaneity and surprise are offered to the audience. Subtly, the group analyzes, adapts and accompanies the public in hypnotic trances, shivers of pelvis until unlocking the torticollis with great blows of distortion.
