Mae & Olivier Defays Quintet

Every Sunday and Monday, la Rhumerie brings you together for a jazz evening that revives the tradition of St Germain des prés during the fifties, and offers a selection of rums and West Indian cuisine (surcharge + € 1 per order on concert days).

Tonight, Alex Swing Events presents Maë and Olivier Defays' quintet:

A tailor-made repertoire that gives pride of place to jazz from the 50s and 60s as well as Brazilian music and a tribute to the legendary singer Nancy Wilson. Without forgetting to take advantage of the qualities of composer (and author) of each other in some original songs. Maë's voice is in turn called upon as a soloist of course, but also as an instrument in its own right, blending with those of the saxophone and the piano.
