Soul Serenade is 6 musicians coming from New Orleans Swing and Jazz; and a singer coming from Gospel and Soul music of the 60s.
They take up the repertoire of Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding and Ray Charles by adapting each title in their own way, always tinged with Swing, with the rhythmic of the "Haricots Rouges"; of Jazz, with a copper section of the "Pink Turtle" among others. Emilie has only to wander in her universe with her powerful and expressive voice to combine this fusion of Jazz, Swing, Soul and Gospel. They do not hesitate to put themselves on stage with a lot of humor and theatrical games. To see at all costs in live, it is a true breath of oxygen.
Emilie Hedou (vocal), Pierre Jean (piano), Laurent Vanhée (double bass), Michel Senamaud (drums), Pierre Louis Cas (tenor sax), Pierre Guicquero (trombone), Michel Bonnet (trumpet).
