Etibar Asadli Trio

Etibar Asadli is one of the most talented jazzmen, pianist-composers of Azerbaijan, winner of many international competitions with his jazz-mugham mixing both acoustic and electronic sounds.

Although he first established himself as a jazz pianist, revealed to the Azeri public at the Baku festival, Etibar Asadli likes to work on his projects based on compositions from the traditional music of his country.

Whether solo, in a trio or in a quartet, Etibar has performed all over the world: Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), JazzyColors Festival (France), Baku Jazz Festival (Azerbaijan), Alanya Jazz Festival (Turkey), Ethno-Jazz 360° (Ukraine), Buta Art Festival in London (United Kingdom), A to Z International Jazz Festival- (Sofia, Bulgari) or Festival Les 2 Mondes in Mulhouse (France)...

In 2015, at the age of 23, Etibar Asadli moved to Paris where he continued his career. There, he released his album "Mugham", a compilation of his musical projects where traditional Azerbaijani compositions are revisited with the imperious rhythms of jazz !
