Philippe Bayle Trio

Invigorating "world music" or rather music of "its worlds", such could be described as the repertoire of the Philippe Bayle trio. Worlds, mounts and demons of jazz escaping from the Indian Ocean, Brazil, Africa, North America, Central and Western Europe, worlds nourished by popular and learned music, between written themes and free improvisations, from personal compositions to covers inspired by unpublished pieces, this is the rich and colourful sound imprint of Philippe Bayle.
Accompanied here by the talented musicians Philippe Laccarrière and Javier Estrella, modelling their rhythms, their ballads, on those of the peoples who, in the four corners of the planet, have been shaped by their History. The Philippe Bayle trio's steps and rhythms are based on those of enlightened surveyors, unrepentant dreamers of Nature (Théodore Monod). 
The trio invites us to share these vast horizons and to enjoy, in their company, superb musical wanderings.
