In a thirty-year career, David Sauzay has established himself as an excellent jazz instrumentalist and a smuggler anchored in tradition, in a dynamic and creative relationship with history, in particular through his work as a composer. Faithful to his friends-partners of his generation, all driven by the same love of cultural jazz, David Sauzay multiplies projects, as a leader, co-leader or sideman. This evening he presents his latest quartet accompanied by his son Gabriel, a young and already seasoned double bass player, the Japanese pianist Hiroshi Murayama and the traveling companion for many years Stéphane Chandelier on drums.
