Carte Blanche To Monika Kabasele

For this last Monday of January, Monika Kabasele presents her project in collaboration with the trombonist and arranger Cyril Galamini. Former student of the CNSM of Paris and currently professor at the conservatory of the XIII district, the young trombonist already leads his own Big Band and takes it into the modernity by proposing his original compositions and arrangements. For this evening at 38Riv, Monika and Cyril propose a joyful quartet, with original compositions and arrangements of great jazz standards from the American Songbook. The trombone and the singing voice, perfectly united, complement each other with the sound of the guitarist Schneor Dasniere, the bassist Gabriel Pierre and the drummer and singer Ananda Brandão.
