Travelling from the very first notes - a real bridge between East and West, between tradition and modernity, MAIDO PROJECT has been mixing world music, jazz and electro since 2006. With the Eurasian singer Monica Shaka, the Indian singers Swathi Raghavan & Sandhya Sanjana, the Moroccan singer Simo, the charismatic Brazilian percussionist Carneiro (St Germain, Higelin, De La Soul, Arthur H and Bob Sinclar).

A multi-instrumentalist with a thirst for travel and encounters, Pierre composes, arranges and plays 7 instruments such as the bansuri and nay flutes, the duduk, the saxophone, the oud, the guitar and the piano. He is nicknamed 'the Warrior of Sound' by famous African musicians, including the great Cheick Tidiane Seck.
