Pianist and composer McCoy Tyner is best known for his participation in John Coltrane's fabulous quartet between 1960 and 1965. However, when he left Coltrane at the end of 1965, he began a brilliant career as a leader until his death in 2020.
This is evidenced by a plethora of magnificent recordings in solo, duo, trio, quartet, quintet, big band, jazz orchestra, string orchestra, Latin orchestra... And of course a lot of concerts and tours around the world where he always gave his all!
The band led by double bass player Jacques Vidal will play his most emblematic compositions with Olivier Hutman on piano, Eric Barret on saxophone and Julien Charlet on drums.
