Thierry Lemaitre Presents Biomania

New project of saxophonist Thierry Lemaitre, Biomania gathers 5 talented musicians. Initiated by a solo beat-making work during the pandemic, the concept finally takes a new dimension with the addition of the ingenuity of Công Minh Pham on keyboards, the guitartistic instinct of Arthur Links, the brio of Nicolas Bauer on bass and the flawless energy of Benjamin Pellet on drums. The result is a fresh and organic instrumental music at the crossroads of soul, vintage hiphop grooves and jazz. Biomania creates a bridge between lofi beats and live music, between the home studio and the stage, between machines and musicians in the biosphere.

Thierry Lemaitre discovered music at the age of 5 with the cello, then the piano and finally chose the saxophone as a teenager. After winning a jazz saxophone prize, he joined the active Parisian scene in various jazz and soul-funk bands. Active on Parisian and European stages, he multiplies the collaborations. His multidisciplinarity and his flawless creativity make him a complete and sought-after musician!
