Central Park West Quartet, is a group nourished by jazz, anchored as much in modernity as in the purest tradition, the one that sent good the old vynils of John Coltrane or Herbie Hancock, the cigarette in the clubs, where one feels the swing deep within us, where we hear in the distance the voice of Miles Davis who whispers "Don't be afraid of the wrong notes, it doesn't exist..." The musicians have the will to bring back to taste of the day this atmosphere in their compositions but also through a few covers and standards.
