Julia Richard Trio

Immersed in the love of music from a very young age, bassist and singer Julia Richard combines a clear voice with the technique of the instrument.

Franco-Mexican, she is quickly seduced by French songs and rock, and discovers jazz later on. She then started a jazz course at the CRR in Paris, where she worked hard and passionately on her instruments.

For this concert at the Baiser Salé, Julia chose to perform the repertoire of one of her favorite musicians, the great pianist and composer Thelonious Monk, and also presented several original compositions rich in her various influences.

The contrast between the musician and her instrument does not go unnoticed, but don't be fooled: the young woman will bewitch you with her emotion and the accuracy of her interpretation!
