After her first album "+EU", Assa Matusse, Mozambican singer and songwriter, presents at Baiser Salé her second album "Mutchangana", which in its local language refers to men and women of the Changana ethnic group. The Mutchanganas are known for being stubborn and proud but zealous protectors of their families and communities.

Now living in Paris, the artist has undergone a real metamorphosis which is felt in this musical production, the result of a Franco-Mozambican work where she combines African and contemporary rhythms, sings in Portuguese, the official language of Mozambique, in English, in French and especially in Changana, her mother tongue.

Assa Matusse invites the public to discover the album Mutchangana, a tribute to her father, who was an authentic Mutchangana and who especially allowed the artist to grow up in a musical environment, listening to her sing and play the guitar.

She is surrounded by the finest musicians of the Parisian jazz scene, Fred Dupont, Antonin Fresson and Romain Labaye, all regulars of the Baiser Salé stage!
