Kristof Negrit Experiment

Born into a family of musicians, Kristof Negrit became interested in the drums at the age of 6.
Tired of seeing him wear out the cushions and armrests of the family couch, his father started looking for a drum set and so, at the age of 11, the Guadeloupean composer, drummer and percussionist met the one he calls his "life partner"... Immersed in the Konpa, popular music of Haiti, and Zouk, that of Guadeloupe, it is naturally towards these genres that his practice turns.

Graduated in 2010 from the FNEIJMA and gold medalist of the Conservatoire de Jazz de Tourcoing in 2012, Kristof becomes an eclectic sideman in his genre and performs in many festivals such as the Bruxelle Jazz in Belgium, the Biguine Jazz in Martinique or the Terre de Blues in Marie Galante. His various collaborations with stars such as Yann Negrit, Hervé Celcal, Max Cilla or Tony Chasseur, allow him to refine his musical orientation.
KRISTOF NEGRIT EXPERIMENT is the power of Caribbean music mixed with world music influences. All these sounds in which he finds himself never ceases to arouse his curiosity and to push him towards other adventures and artistic sensibilities.
