Jim Payne, master funk drummer based in San Francisco, the "Buddy Rich or Billy Cobham of funk drums" (Maceo Parker, Slickaphonics), joins jazz/classical keyboardist Edouard Ferlet (Trio Viret, Think Bach, Pianoïd) and dynamic electric bassist Xavier Zolli (Axel Bauer, Ray Lema), for an eclectic mix of musical genres... Powerful, but also subtle, with ease and elegance the American weaves intimate links with his partners on original compositions that sound like standards.
