"John Mayer was born on October 16, 1977 in the United States. He learned to play guitar at the age of 13, wanting to follow in the footsteps of his idol Stevie Ray Vaughan, a guitar and blues virtuoso of the 1980s.
In 2006, John Mayer released a new album, Continuum, which also won a Grammy Award.
