Listening to Eklectik Band, some evoke Alas no Axis, Badbadnotgood, Guillaume Perret, or Andy Elmer. Others see it in the wake of David Haudrechy's Initiative H or Fred Pallem's Sacre du Tympanum... (Télérama, Jazz News). Finally Xavier Roumagnac, seems to have been unrolling for 10 years, 2 Ep and 2 albums his inner score, sincere, faithful in these intentions, these first intuitions, a singular line, a current furrow, for an unclassifiable music. Today he invites Mc Nèns for a jazz talk. A music written like a conscious jazz. An evocation of the time when jazz was a symbol of emancipation, vector of dreams and space of freedom, bearer of promises. Like an echo of Xavier Roumagnac's artistic commitment to tolerance and openness to others through the crossbreeding of his music, like a reflection of France today.

Joran Cariou - clavier
Timothée Robert - basse
